Come to our autumnal Summer’s End Social. Bring a dish to share for Potluck, a chair to sit on, a vegetable for the Fruit&Veg Contest, apples & container for juice for apple pressing, a neighbor you’ve been curious to get to know more, materials for lantern making, mask-making and your own dishes for potluck!

We are SEED.

South End Eco Development.

Located in the Bayview School area, now referred to as ‘S.E.E.D’,  we have many initiatives sprouting up.  To name a few, we;

  1. Host seasonal celebrations and work parties.

  2. Manage 5 ‘food forests’ with over 150 publicly accessible fruit and nut trees

  3. Offer an on-street food bank “Pay What You Can Food Stand” and

  4. pocket library;

  5. We care for the lower reach of the Catstream. 

  6. Constructed educational food gardens for Bayview students

  7. Host neighborhood Walking tours and hands-on earth service

  8. Host Nature Based/play based Education groups.
